It was the 7th of December 1992, A day after the fateful demolition of Babri Masjid in Faizabad at the hands of Hindutva fanatics of the RSS. Communal riots had broken out all over the country as the Sanghi terrorists had mounted the second most horrendous attack on the soil of India post-Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination. A civil disturbance was engulfing one state after another, Indians were losing lives, honour and properties. The chaos had gripped even the national capital. Only one state in the whole country was untouched by the communal frenzy and it was Bihar, led by the son of the soil and the then sitting chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
The state capital Patna was tense but under complete control. Students from all over Bihar come to live and study in Patna, mostly preparing for competitive exams. The Hindu and Muslim residential areas are alternatingly segregated here but everything else from study to business centers remains affably common. The ABVP goons in Saidpur hostel and Patel Chatravas under the patronage of their warlords in Nagpur were fully planned and logistically prepared to mount a mob attack on the adjoining Muslim area of Ramna Road where Muslim boys and girls would live in hostels perusing their studies. This was a tense afternoon full of loud communally charged slogans being heard from both side of the Bari Path, the road that divided the Muslim and Hindu areas. The bells in the temples were constantly ringing and Shankhnand was heard at successive intervals. The attack looked imminent.
Suddenly, a white ambassador along with two police Gypsies pulls over on Ashok Rajpath at the corner of the narrow Ramna Road crossing where a small group of Muslims had gathered to take stock of the ever growing desperation among the non-local students, specially the girls living in Muslim hostels. As the door of the white ambassador swung open, to the utter surprise of the people, it was none other than the chief minister of Bihar Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav who had come all the way to this small besieged locality of Muslims to assure the mostly young students not to worry about the terrorists on the other side of the road. He gave a short but powerful speech not only instructing the Inspector General of Police who was standing by him to make all necessary security arrangements but also permitted the Muslims of the area to beat up any Hindutva miscreant who dares to attack them. The assurance had a magical effect on people.
The RSS mission to divide Bihar on communal line had miserably failed.
The infamous Rath-Yatra of the Sanghi miscreant Advani was not only denied entry in Bihar, but he was also arrested and deported to the utter humiliation of the Hindutva gang. This was history in the making. Lalu had emerged as the messiah of communal harmony in the country, an insurmountable challenge to the Nagpur fascists who unfortunately run the Indian govt. today. If there was any power in the country to have the audacity to confront and defeat the Sanghi fascists in their vicious mission , it was Lalu Prasad Yadav without any iota of doubt in their mind.
Why is Lalu Prasad Yadav in Jail:
The Nagpur brigade ( the sangh pariwar ) wanted to set the country on fire of communal hatred, bigotry, casteism, un-constitutionalism, saffronization of the security apparatus and all this was impossible with Lalu firmly holding the ground and taking them on in the parliament, assembly and on the streets. To set him up it was incumbent upon the judiciary to surrender to the will of the ruling dispensation, to bow down to the reasonless, bigoted and the fascist ideology of the right wing mass murderers. And Finally, the judiciary succumbed to the false God of Hindu Nationalism with judgement for money being yet another lucrative reason. With Modi ascending the throne of Delhi in 2014 after killing thousands of Muslims in Gujarat, the first priority of his masters in the Nagpur Brigade was to incarcerate their arch enemy, Lalu Prasad Yadav , the icon of Hindu Muslim unity in India. The conspiracy began to be hatched with lap-dog media barking first, then the political wolfs scrambled to encircle him , unfounded stories of fodder scam were planted by the Times of India group publishing them as front page news, the despicable Indian judiciary was already on board. However, the presence of a coalition government with Lalu Prasad’s party RJD as the bigger stake holder was the biggest hurdle in the path of him being arrested. To throw him out of power first, his old time partner and Bihar’s incumbent chief minister Nitish Kumar was dragged into a Murder conspiracy by Modi’s caged parrot , the CBI. Nitish Kumar though a revolutionary of the JP school of thoughts but lacked the courage to face the all powerful RSS and succumbed to the pressure. And in the middle of the night the coalition govt. of Nitish Kumar’s JDU and Lalu Prasad’s RJD was forcefully dissolved only to form another coalition Govt. of JDU and the fascist BJP before the daybreak. An unprecedented move in the game of thrones. The mandate of Bihar was shamelessly robbed and thrown to the sinners. From the Prime minister of India to the Governor of Bihar everyone was up to the single task of silencing the mass leader Lalu Prasad Yadav. The right wing political fraternity, the caged parrot CBI, the corrupt Indian bureaucracy, the police and the compromised judiciary all joined hands to give Modi the cover to sweep Lalu Prasad from power and imprison him on fake charges. His opponents in power seek to guarantee that he never tastes freedom again.
But will the people of Bihar allow the Sanghi oppression on their beloved leader to continue ? I don’t think so.
