All over the world, the Polish city of Auschwitz had become a symbol of terror, genocide, and the Shoah in the 1940s. The direct reason for the establishment of those concentration camps in the newly annexed city of Poland was the fact that mass arrests of Jews were increasing beyond the capacity of existing “local” prisons in Germany and Poland and wherever the Nazis ruled in Europe.
The scenario is not different in India today. With the ascension of the tyrannical Hindutva cult to the throne of Delhi, Indian Muslims are facing pogroms, mass detention and genocide and like German and Polish jails had run out of space and new concentration camps were built by Hitler for the jews to be persecuted, local prisons in India are also running out of capacity, scores more Muslims bound to be perished need extra extermination camps.
The home ministry of India has thus publicly announced the creation and presence of such detention camps in the states of Assam , Karnataka and Punjab. At least 10 of them are on the official record of the ministry where Muslim prisoners are going through torments worse than those in Auschwitz and Guantanamo. The punishment for being a Muslim in India is way more harsh than it was for being a jew in Hitler’s Germany. No Nazi leader would have ever imagined raping a dead Jewish female pulling her body out of her grave, Whereas In India the idea of raping a dead Muslim women pulling her dead body out of her grave is publicly announced by none other than those ruling the country today. The so called civilized world was silent when the Nazis were exterminating the Jews horrendously , they are silent now too when the Hindutva cult is annihilating Indian Muslims in full public spectre.
Unbeknownst to the world media , innocent Muslims of India specially the Kashmiri youth are being pulled out of their homes in the middle of the night and are being slapped with unfounded charges of treason and sedition and are thrown into these detention camps where they would either die under duress or live like animals for a decade or two before some Human rights NGO would get them out proving their innocence. Many veterans of Indian detention camps though proven not guilty , find it extremely difficult to live a normal life post release.
Prelude to the genocide
Building despicable narrative to brainwash the majority of Germans into deep hatred against the voiceless minority Jews was easy for the Nazi propaganda machinery. Owning almost all the nation’s print and electronic media channels and turning them into the likes of Radio Rwanda, using the surrendered Indian film industry to produce malevolent films like “The Kashmir files” and declaring it tax-free , It’s been far easier for the ruling Hindutva cult to build the tsunami of hatred against an already marginalized and economically downtrodden Muslims of India. The hostility against Muslims thus built has now trespassed into regime’s policies and is clearly visible in the country’s judicial and educational systems and it has thoroughly gripped all the agencies supporting the reign of Hindutva terror on the soil of India today.
Syllabuses have been conspiratorially altered and the voices of sanity, humanity and concern have either been eliminated or thrown into the dungeons. Chroniclers and historians like Irfan Habib and Arundhati Roy have been threatened into near silence. Reporters and activists like Siddique Kappan and Umar Khalid are languishing in jails for drawing international attention towards the ongoing atrocities on the Muslims of India. Money hungry Muslim Politicians have pragmatically chosen to connive with the Hindutva juggernaut and to help them rig elections to ascertain their victory.
Subservient intellectuals and poverty stricken Mullahs-for-hire having sold their souls are lackeying to their paymasters and justifying the Hindutva monstrosity on the regime owned lap-dog media channels utterly shamelessly, coaxing the oppression-stricken Muslims not to complain and advising them to learn to live in utter humiliation and constant fear until they are slaughtered. A huge chunk of unemployed Muslim youth have been lured by the so called law enforcement agencies to act as informants ,tasked to spy on the congregants of Masajid and Islamic religious and social events. This unlawful, illegal, unethical and unconstitutional act has put the lives of a lot of innocent Muslims in jeopardy and their well-being and rights of privacy unconcernedly violated.
There is no one left to tell the story of the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Indian Muslims and there seems to be no one to listen to either. Who knows how many Muslim peasants, their women and children were butchered and their bodies buried in the agricultural fields during the gruesome massacre of Nellie in Assam. Does anyone remember the number of Muslim women dragged out of their homes and gangraped in the bleeding valley of Kashmir ? The blood stained pages of the Gujarat pogrom of Muslims have also been conveniently torn off the books of Indian history and the global media that had taped the horror for record sake have also been bribed into silence. The number of Muslim homes gutted all across the length and breadth of India under the pretext of communal cashes has also been strategically kept out of the official record to refute any international human rights or accountability agency if ever they demand a report. The censorship on everything Muslim in India is stricter than the kind in North Korea. Anti-Muslim hate fests like “Dharam Sansads” are regularly being organised with full regime’s support to normalize hate speech as the historic precursor to a genocide. From Germany to Rwanda to Bosnia a similar pattern was adopted and the Hindutva regime is sinisterly making sure the pattern is followed in copy-book style in India too.
